Dashboard - Time distribution graph

Feature Request

When I click on a bar in the graph (like 3pm), the URL it opens is:

http://192.168.1.122:3000/live_feed?page=1&hourFrom=22&hourTo=22

It should be from=15 and to=15 for my TZ. Is there a setting for that? The timestamps are correct in events I believe for local TZ, but the graph converts to UTC.

How can I change that?

    I posted this on GitHub as well. Is there a way to fix this or something that can be changed so that if you click on 3pm gets you 3pm activity?

    Here’s an example of the issue this causes. I clicked on the 5pm bar which resulted in plates from 5pm for today, but 4pm for last week.

    Can this be fixed?

    On the surface, this seems like an internal issue that shouldn’t affect what the user sees but it could matter when the time changes.

    For example, let’s say a neighbor always comes home during the 3pm hour (15:00 MST = 22:00 UTC). All their records will be under the 3pm bar and show when you call for 22:00 UTC.

    Now it’s a week later and I want to see the last 30 days. But let’s say the time has also changed so we are now daylight saving time (3pm = 15:00 MDT = 21:00 UTC). Will the 3pm records from last week be included correctly or will they be off by an hour? And will the UTC call be looking for 22:00 UTC or 21:00 UTC?

    Can I say, timezones cause so many problems for programmers, don’t they?!
