Just adding another reminder that the Notifications tab is still woefully underpowered. At the moment, I have BI doing notifications whenever it reads a plate, but I get so many that it’s no longer useful.
If the notifications tab had actual rules for notifying, I could only send notifications for certain tags (or untagged), if the total number of reads was low, if it’s flagged on the watchlist, if it’s between certain hours of the day, if it is close (“fuzzy search”) to another plate, etc.
Please consider working on this as a higher priority feature. I bet others in the IPCamTalk thread would also weigh in. For ultimate flexibility, a “rules builder” would be awesome.

Other desirable rules:
Number of times seen is low
No tag assigned
Time between current and last detection is within a certain range (e.g. it came up, stopped for a short time, then left. But not if it just drove by, or if it was here for several hours.)
For actions, it would be nice to be able to:
Send a push notification, send an email, add a flag, etc.
